Somatic Bodywork in Everett, Washington
Fascia-informed, trauma-aware bodywork for people whose bodies have been holding more than they can say out loud.
Somatic bodywork is hands-on work that treats the body as a participant rather than an object. Instead of pushing tissue into submission, sessions follow the nervous system: slow contact, breath, fascia release, and enough time for the body to actually let go of what it has been bracing against.
Dr. Sabrina Sophia braids MELT Method fascia work, embodied bodywork, and somatic emotional release into a single session shaped around what your body is asking for that day. Some sessions are quiet and structural. Some involve breath, sound, movement, or the release of an old holding pattern. Nothing happens to your body — everything happens with it.
What a bodywork session can include
Every session is personalized. Depending on what your body needs, the work may draw from:
- ·MELT Method fascia release and rehydration
- ·Embodied, slow-paced hands-on bodywork
- ·Somatic and emotional release
- ·Nervous system regulation and co-regulation
- ·Breath, movement, and gentle assisted stretching
- ·Sound and energetic support where welcome
Trauma-informed by design
Pacing, consent, capacity, and choice are foundational. You are told what is happening before it happens, you can adjust or stop anything at any point, and you stay in charge of your own body throughout. This matters especially for people who have found traditional massage too fast, too loud, or too impersonal.
How it fits with the rest of the work
Bodywork is one doorway among several. Many people begin with a Full Spectrum Session, which can hold bodywork alongside conversation, nervous system work, and energetic support in one longer container — then continue with focused bodywork from there.
Who this is for
- ·Chronic tension, bracing, and fascia restriction
- ·Burnout, over-functioning, and nervous systems stuck on
- ·People carrying stress that talk alone has not moved
- ·Sensitive and neurodivergent adults who need slower pacing
- ·Athletes, caregivers, and desk-bound bodies
- ·Anyone who wants touch that is respectful and unhurried
